A hand-grafted London dry gin distilled from a ridiculously small shed in Kensington, London. A punchy and distinctive gin that maintains its strong character when mixed. Distilled with Bourbon vanilla pod, Darjeeling tea, Cardamom and Nutmeg. It is a warm and smooth gin that does not stray too far from the classic London dry character.  Duck and Crutch was founded, and is still run by fiance’s, George and Hollie (as well as their sausage dog, Meryl). George is the distiller and looks after the day-to-day running of the business whilst Hollie masterfully created the brand and designed the bottle and label (a lot of which is hand-drawn).  Tasting notesA juniper-led, warm and smooth gin. Fresh lemon and thyme feature on the nose, followed by a warm spiciness on the palate and a floral musk on the finish. All underpinned by the classic piney juniper.  Serving suggestionsGin and Tonic – Serve a double measure over ice (3 or 4 large cubes) in a chilled tumbler glass – add a dash of good tonic (150ml regular indian tonic) – stir twice with two sprigs of fresh thyme, then leave in glass to garnish.Negroni – In this order, Serve 35ml of Kensington Dry Gin, 35ml of sweet vermouth (we like Dolin Rouge), 35ml of Campari and a dash of triple sec all to a mixing glass and then fill with large ice cubes. Stir gently with a bar spoon (about 20 times should do it), then strain into a chilled tumbler glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
